SRS-Fix Solution

Because SRS treatment protocols put higher demands on patient immobilization, Orfit tailored a unique fixation solution to support greater precision and daily reproducibility. SRS-Fix is simple to use and very reliable, but most importantly, it offers superior stability for immobilizing a patient’s head.

Easy, fast, trouble-free mask preparation and setup

Unlike other immobilization systems, Orfit provides a single shell, multi-point mask so the molding procedure is very quick. This significantly reduces set-up time so that patient simulation and treatment can commence quickly. The BiteFix device is minimally invasive and helps to further reduce pitch movement.

Highly advanced thermoplastic material

Orfit’s proprietary nanotechnology provides excellent immobilization and fixation without compromising patient comfort. It’s the perfect balance of rigidity matched to comfort, while still offering incredibly low shrinkage.

High precision and reproducibility

The SRS-Fix Solution molds very carefully to the unique definition of the patient’s head in a highly reproducible way. This high precision positioning solution not only helps create a better clinical effect but also delivers more personalized care for these types of advanced treatments.

Operates with existing hardware

Orfit engineered this solution to be compatible with the high precision base plate and head supports to ensure that investment costs would be very low or non-existent. Interoperability is a cornerstone of everything we do.

SBRT Solution

The SBRT Solution is developed in collaboration with users worldwide based on existing SBRT studies, products available on the market and on-site testing to provide a system which combines high technology, ease of use and precision to meet current and future demands.

The SBRT Solution provides a precise, stable and easy to use setup that enables you to apply the most effective radiation treatment method for thoracic and abdominal tumours. The SBRT Solution is MR safe.

Vacuum bags

Various sizes of vacuum bags can be indexed both on the long and short SBRT base plate. When using a vacuum bag, blocks will need to be placed underneath the head support to elevate the head of the patient.

Compatibility with the AIO Solution

The long SBRT base plate can be combined with two sets of the AIO Solution:

• The Breast-and Lung Board Solution
• The Belly- and Pelvic Board Solution

Various configurations of the product are available to adapt it to your needs.

Configurations
	SBRT base plate The system can be delivered with a long or with a short base plate.
	Positioning of the arms Arms can be positioned by use of the MammoRx arm supports and grips or by use of a cushion. The arm rest cushion can be lifted with the use of an elevation cushion. There is a cranial and caudal position for these cushions. Various indexed positions are available for the hand grips for optimal comfort and reproducibility.
	Abdominal compression system The mechanical pressure system consists of a bridge with a pressure plate and a screw. There is a low and a high version of the bridge.
	Abdominal compression can also be created with a pressure belt with inflatable air bladder.
	Positioning of knees and feet The knees and feet supports are indexed on top of the long base plate. When using the short base plate, the knees and feet supports are attached to the treatment couch with a 2-pin indexing bar.
	SBRT Masks Slots are provided over the entire length of the long base plate to allow the use of different thermoplastic masks.
